ARBOR HOMES Design Center Manager

Responsible for the entire Design Center operations, including but not limited to strategy development; physical Design Center operations; developing, and leading the Design Center sta . Provides assistance to the home buyer in selecting options to enhance the personalization of the home building process.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Monitors selection and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and trade partners.

· Responsible for the successful management of the Design Center; including management of personnel, the facility, budgets, etc.
· Establishes, approves, and monitors operating budgets, product displays and site installations.
· Creates, oversees, approves, and evaluates policies, sta ng and employee training for the Design Center.
· Creates and maintains the hours of operation for the Design Center as well as the work schedules for employees.

· Responsible for communicating e ectively and professionally with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience.
· Maintain a strong customer focus in all areas of the design center.
· Responsible for monitoring budgets, analyzing margins, and maintaining the Design Center schedule.
· Reports to VP of Sales.
· Visits the  eld, as needed, to assure that Customer related Design Center concerns are inspected and compliant with Design Center selections and expectations. · Visits the  eld, as needed, to assure that model homes and spec home selections are compliant with Design Center selections and expectations.

· Con rms exterior color selections of adjacent homes to ensure color selections are not duplicated.
· Coordinates selections/options for “Inventory/Spec” homes and submits Color Selection Sheets by speci c deadline to ensure building process is not delayed. · Researches and provides information on selections to subcontractors and appropriate Company representatives.
· Assist with special projects as requested and perform additional duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 4-6 years of residential homebuilding experience or experience managing a design center · Minimum of 5 years’ management experience
· Experience in working directly with customers, especially in resolving concerns
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design or related  eld preferred
