A. INTRODUCTION
1. Brief Description
In this teaching material, material will be discussed about narrative text. In a short but clear
and easy to understand material description, consisting of expressions of social functions in
several spoken and written narrative texts by giving and asking for information related to folk
legends. In addition, this teaching material also includes several types of narrative texts and
analyzes them more deeply so that students can more easily understand this material. Related
material such as the contents of narrative texts using simpler language will also be discussed in
this teaching material to support the student's understanding process.
2. Relevance
This teaching material contains material about cultural introduction regarding folk legends
in narrative texts. So that after studying this book, students are expected to be able to convey
moral messages that are worthy of being studied and practiced in the context of everyday life.
3. Study Guidelines
Explain the purpose of communication, text structure, and linguistic elements of simple
spoken and written narrative texts about folk legends according to the context of their
use.
