Sec. 5. A member who has been expelled or suspended from this Post for any cause may be rein.stated to
membership by a twoihirds vote of the membership present in a Post meeting, and the payment of
ounent dues for the year in which the reinstatement occurs.
See. 6. No person who has been expelled by a Post shall be admitted to membership in this Post, without
the consent of the expelling Post, except that where such consent has been asked for and denied by such
Post, they may then appeal to the state Executive Committee of the Depertment of the expelling Post for
permission to apply for membership in this Post, and shall be ineligifole for membership until such
permission is granted,
Article VLrofficers
Section 1. The administrative affairs of this Post of The Ameriean Legion shall, except as may be
otherwise provided by the By-Laws, be under the supervision of an Executive Committee which shall
include .]lof the Cfficen of the Post and Put CrmDand®n who are b food rfundh(, and such cthem
as may be elected to the Executive Committee by the Membership of the Post. The ten of office of
members of the Executive Committee shall be for one year. This Post, by its By-Laws, may provide for
such other standing committees as the business of the organization may require,
See. 2. The officers of this Post shall be a Commander, two Vice-Commanders, an Adjutant, a Judge
Advocate. a Finance Officer, a Historian, a Chaplain, a Service Officer, a Sergeant-at-Arms, and such
other officers as may be deemed necessary by this organization including the Executive Committee, \who
shall be nominated from the floor at the meeting preceding the annual election.
Sec. 3. The Executive committee will consist of no more than thirteen (13) members of the Post. (±!Le
members shall consist of current officers of the Post and a number of at-large members of the Post to
bring the total Executive Committee membership to thirteen ( 13) members for any given year). Any
member of the Post may nominate any other member of the Post in good standing to the Executive
Committee (with Drior aDDroval of the nominee) notwithstanding any current officer or officerelect.
See. 4. All Commanders, Vice Commanders, Finance Officers, Chaplains, Historians, and Sergeant at
Arms cfEccrs and executive committeemembersmeB shall be elected annually, and they shall hold office
until their successors are duly installed or as otherwise provided. The Adjutant, Service Officer and Judge
Advocate shall be appointed by the Commander-Elect and whose names will be placed before the Post or
the Post Executive Committee as the Post Coustitution and By-Laws will provide, at the first meetmg
following their appointment, for confirmation by a majority of the members present. Any officer or
executive committeemembernan may be removed from office for inefficiency by the Executive
Ccommittee, a two-thirds vote of said committee being necessary to aeffect such removal.
Ssec. 5. E¥ery Members of this Post in good standing shall are be eligivle to hold office in this Post.
