Military and Veterans Assistance Program
Florida is blessed to be home to the third largest
veteran population in the united States. These
veterans deserve our support and admiration for the
jobs performed in service to our country. They have
also earned benefits connected to their service and
sacrifice defending our nation and interests abroad.
Without these brave men and women, there would be
no United States of America.
While having a large population of service members

in our communities is a great advantage for our state,
there are some unscrupulous individuals who seek to exploit their service-
targeting them with scams and deceptive business practices.
My Military and Veterans Assistance Program exists to help educate military
members, veterans and their families about the scams they may encounter,
what they can do to protect themselves from fraud and how they can help
others by reporting suspicious activity.
In addition, members of my MVAP team work directly with military service
members and veterans who have been targeted to help resolve their
consumer protection related issues or find other outside assistance if
necessary. To learn more about MVAP, visit MyFloridaLegal.com/MVAP. To
