NFPA 72 is a code that sets out the most up-to-date safety regulations for fire detection,
signaling, and emergency communications in data centers and other buildings. This

document covers the procedures for installing, assessing efficiency, examining,

conducting tests, and upkeeping fire alarm systems and emergency communication
systems in order to ensure the security and protection of resources and personnel.

                    7. NFPA 75.

NFPA 75 is the official guideline established by the National Fire Protection
Association to ensure the safety and security of Information Technology Equipment

(ITE). This document establishes standards and criteria for the planning, construction,
functioning, and safeguarding of data centers and similar buildings housing IT

equipment. Its purpose is to reduce the likelihood of fire, secure the safety of

                    8. NFPA 76.

NFPA 76 is a standard established by the National Fire Safety Association (NFPA)

that outlines fire safety criteria for telecommunications facilities, such as data centers.

This encompasses fire prevention, detection, and suppression systems aimed at
safeguarding the facilities and ensuring the well-being of both the equipment and

personnel. The standard specifically addresses the unique fire risks associated with
high-tech environments, providing guidance on mitigating fire risks and guaranteeing

                      effective emergency response.
