ABSTRACT
The common view is that the role of men is the productive in the public sector, while the role of women is the
reproductive role in the domestic sector. This study aims to identify and analyze the participation of women in
farm management in Bulusirua Village, Bontocani Subdistrict, Bone Regency. This research uses qualitative
approach and a case study research type. The data were collected using the techniques of in-depth interviews,
observation wihout partisipation, literature review, and documentation. The informant were determined using
the purposive sampling technique. The informants comprised 5 women or families whose main occupation were
farmers and joint in the activities of farming with their husbands, and had married for at least 4 years. The data
analysis consists of the phases of data reduction, data presentation, and the conclusion, which are then
continued with the technique of componential analysis. The research results indicated that the women
participate in all stages of the management of farm enterprises, starting from the land preparation, seedlings,
planting, fertilizing, maintenance, harvesting, post-harvest management, sales, storage of sales proceeds, and
utilization of sales proceeds. Thus, the women participate in all stages of the management of the farm
enterptises, particularly in the stages of seedling, harvesting, post-harvest proceeds, sales, storage, and
utilization of sales proceeds
