Outsourcing certain office functions is an entirely new category that I am pretty excited about.
There are some specific instances that it makes total senses both economically,emotionally,
and from a stress management standpoint,to look for outside help.
Phone Coverage and Call Tracking
Answering services and call tracking services are some of the fastest growing outsourced
areas in dentistry. I have lectured for years about the overlooked opportunities in mis
management of phone calls both during office hours and when the office is closed. There are a
growing number of dental specific services that offer per call pricing and subscriptions. There
are also services that record your office calls and provide coaching and performance metrics
for your team.
Call tracking allows you to measure the performance of individual marketing pieces by the
assignment of a unique phone number. The ability to accurately measure the ROI of a
marketing campaign is now within reach by the use of an assigned phone number.
