UNIDIRECTIONAL FILTER CEILINGS
5 CONNECTING THE AERAULIC DUCTS
5.1 CONNECTING THE AERAULIC DUCTS TO THE BEARING STRUCTURE (PLENUM)
Primary air intake aeraulic ducts in the bearing structure (plenum) must be set up by the installer. The characteristics of the
aeraulic ducts must be defined during the design stage and must consider the system operating limits (see previous chapters).
The bearing structure (plenum) of the filter ceiling has eight connection points, measuring 800 x 210 mm, intended for the
connection of the primary air intake aeraulic ducts.
Each connection point has eight mounting holes for M6 screws (not supplied) which the aeraulic ducts can be anchored to.
If not all the connection points are used, the free ones should be sealed with adequately sized plates (not supplied).
WARNING!
If an ambient air recirculation system is to be used, the connections of the recirculated air
must be alternated with those of primary air input so as to facilitate the mixture inside the
plenum
