Sept 2 ~ Sonoma Coast Surfrider Beach Clean Up
Please spend some time on Labor
Day to help us remove marine debris
and garbage from the beach-every
piece removed is saving coastal and ocean wildlife. NO DOGS. Bring a bucket, gloves, water bottle and dress appropriately with closed toe shoes. We supply latex gloves, pick-up sticks, buckets, and stoke! 11a-2p at Bodega Bay, North Salmon Creek Beach. Look for the Surfrider canopy in the North Salmon Creek parking lot, located 0.3 miles south of 3095 Highway 1. INFO. Sarah Heyne secretary@sonomacoast.surfrider.org
Sept 2 ~ Guerneville Town Cleanup- Clean River Alliance Our little town of Guerneville is beloved by hoardes of folks who come over Labor Day weekend to enjoy the Russian River. When they go home, guess what they leave behind - trash! Lots of it!!! Litter and cigarette butts in street gutters and on sidewalks will go directly down storm drains and into the watershed unless it gets cleaned up. We are asking for your help because Guerneville has
no municipal street sweepers or trash service, and is underserved by public works. Gloves, pickers, bags and other cleanup equipment will be provided. Wear work clothes and bring a refillable water bottle. Join us for a pizza party afterwards! 4:30p at Guerneville Plaza, Guerneville
Sept 21 ~ Coastwalk
Sept 21 ~ Laguna de Santa
Rosa Foundation ~ The Great

the Laguna Wetlands Preserve before the rain starts falling and washes trash into our waterways and ocean. Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle, gloves and a bucket. Extra gloves and buckets will
also be available. Abundant and hearty snacks provided. Event is suitable for all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. 9a-12p ~ Meet at the Americorps Trailhead, across from 200 Morris Street (The Barlow), Sebastopol.
