The Coastal Commission runs a year- round cleanup program called Adopt- A-Beach®. Help us keep the California coast debris-free all year long.
According to the Russian River Watershed Association, at the 2018 Russian River Watershed Cleanup we had a total of 242 volunteers that collectively removed 15,500 lbs of garbage from the Russian River watershed. This breaks out to 64 lbs of trash removed per person! In addition, volunteers also removed and properly disposed of 51 tires!
