February is upon us, and we are in full swing! We start off the month with Men’s
Gallery Cup, which is our play on the Ryder Cup February 5th-7th. This is a long-
standing event that has 50 players squared off in two teams. Also, the men’s season
long match play has just finished Round 1, and the results can be seen in the Pro
shop above the fireplace. Don’t forget to sign-up for March’s events, Men Club
Championship March 5th, and 6th and The Gallery’s premier men’s event
                            "Gunslinger”/Member Guest!

The GWGA transformed their normal Wednesday games in a 102 player Battle of the
'Hood event that was captured by Scorpions. This was a great event with a ton of
camaraderie and excitement for defending each other’s hoods. Next team event for
Ladies is our Annual Solheim Cup March 2nd and 3rd! The Ladies Member Guest will
be April 6-8th with the theme of “Around the World in 18 Holes”, don’t miss this
                                  premier event!

This time of year, pay attention to your emails for frost delays when you have a tee
time. We have a very great system in Foretees to communicate with members these
delays, so before you come out, check your email! Reminder to all make sure that you
are repairing ball marks, raking bunkers, and seeding divots.

Lastly, I will be leaving the Gallery on February 20th and taking a new position at
Quail Creek for Robson. I have very much enjoyed my time here at The Gallery,
reconnecting with old faces from my time here as an assistant in 2008, to meeting so
many new people from all over the world. I came back home as different person and
much different role. I was very excited to be at the helm of the Gallery golf operation,
my tenure this time around has been one of quite a bit more responsibility, as an
assistant I was merely in charge of radios and demo clubs.

For my last couple of weeks here I will be handing off my duties to Jared Rogers and
Mark McDowell to ensure that they are more than prepared to take care of The
Gallery Membership until a new person is put in my role. I believe The Gallery in a
better place than when I found it, and I have no doubt it will continue to thrive with
Jeremy as your General Manager and the rest of the team. There are so many things
about this place I will miss, far too many to list, but I am hopeful I will be invited back
sometime in the future to see it again!
