March is here and so is our amazing desert weather! We have some really fun events planned for
the month of March including sunset yoga, Adult '70's Glow in the Dark Pickleball Mixer, a 3 day
kids Tennis and Golf Clinic, and more. Don't forget the Fitness Challenge has 3 more months, you
can join anytime!
Congratulations to our February winners:
Most Classes: Marion Sachs (47 Classes)
Most Steps - Marion Sachs (606,606)
Most Days at the Sports Club - Wade McMillian (28)
Stop by the Sports Club to receive your prize!
You can still sign up for the remaining months! Give your name to the front desk or email myself
or Stephanie (Rebeccas@gallerygolf.com – Sanderson@gallerygolf.com.)
Fit Tip of the Month - Drink water! Especially before meals
Staying hydrated can have numerous benefits. Some of these include the fact that water has a
major effect on both energy level and brain function. Studies show that even mild dehydration
(1-3% of body weight) can impair many aspects of brain function.
I am excited to introduce Tona Wilson PhD to our Gallery Wellness Network! She is a very
experienced Nutritionist and Health Psychologist. Tona is a nutrition consultant that works with a
variety of needs, including anti-inflammatory nutrition, illness-specific nutrient requirements,
sports nutrition, weight loss, and clean-eating. As a fitness coach, she specializes in corrective,
restorative & functional fitness as well as in sport-specific conditioning.
Reminder, please continue to sign up on ForeTees when using the Sports Club. Please follow-up
by checking in at the front counter and giving your name to the staff so they can verify. Also, with
the limited space in class, you MUST sign up in advance in order to join class. Instructors will be
taking attendance prior to class. Those that are not on the sign in sheet will need to forfeit their
space if the class has exceeded the max participants. Guests will also need to forfeit their spot if a
member is on the wait list. If you need assistance signing up for class, please ask the front desk
attendants and they will be happy to help.
If you have guests in town, please know that because classes are limited, guests are welcome to
join as long as a Member is not on the wait list.
We are excited to see everyone returning to The Sports Club, as we enter into our busy season,
please remember to help keep the club clean by wiping down your equipment and keeping to
the 30min time limit.
Enjoy your Club-
