I am pleased to announce Mike Russell, PGA has accepted the Director of Golf position
at The Gallery Golf Club. Mike is a 19-year member of the PGA and is coming to us after
a lengthy tenure at The Stone Canyon Club, in Oro Valley, AZ. Mike started at Stone
Canyon in 1999 as their Head Golf Professional and has spent the last eight years as the
club’s General Manager. Mike’s wealth of knowledge in golf operations will be
instrumental in our continued efforts to enhance our Member experience.

I am very excited to have Mike on the team, as I know he will be able to assist our golf
staff with improved service, Member events, and practice facilities. Mike will support
our team in making The Gallery one of the best clubs in Arizona! Mike will be joining
the team in late March, so please stop by and welcome him to The Gallery.

We have some great events coming up in March including (but not limited to) The
Men’s Club Championship this weekend, Joseph Phelps Wine Dinner, Three Jills and
One Jack (a GWGA fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity), The Gunslinger which is our
premier men’s event. Please read through the rest of this newsletter for all of our March
events, and remember to register through ForeTees, call the Golf Shop, or email Carlos
for any food and beverage events.

The Gallery will be hosting a concert on the Sports Club lawn, on Saturday, April 9th.
This event will feature a live band and a wonderful dinner created by Chef Wooters.
