Fines Exemption Initiative
The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia launched an initiative to exempt fines of
2023. This initiative will continue until May 2023 ,31. The
exemption is applied according to specific conditions of
the type of fine. The most prominent of which is the fine
for late registration in all tax systems, so that in order for
the exemption to be completed, registration in the tax
system for non-registered persons must be submitted.
The statement must be submitted and full payment of the
original tax debt, in addition to exemption from fines for
late payment of tax or delay in filing a tax return in all
tax systems, after payment of the full original tax debt,
exemption from the fine for correcting the return for
value-added tax after payment of the full original tax debt
and exemption from fines for violations Field control of
value-added tax, electronic billing after submitting the due
statements and paying the full principal of the tax debt.
Bahraini Customs is preparing to launch the national single
window project
The Bahraini Customs Affairs launching the national single
window project «Ofoq 2», which aims to develop digital
services for clearance and goods delivery in accordance
with international best practices in this field.
His Excellency pointed out the importance of achieving
smooth work procedures, which is a basic requirement
for attracting investment in the Kingdom of Bahrain,
explaining that the single window system is an electronic
portal characterized by an advanced risk system that
works on various customs data and takes into account
various government procedures developed and followed
internationally and in accordance with international best
practices.
( Ofuq 2) system is used to achieve which will achieve
electronic integration and exchange of data between
electronic systems operating within the customs department,
by including all electronic services related to stakeholders
from the public and private sectors.
