653The President informed the Board that the Committee composed of Hon. Rimando, Hon.
654Mariano, and Hon. Catanguian are invited by IFSU to conduct site evaluation at the Eye Center to
655address the issues raised in relation to the Memorandum of Agreement entered by IFSU and
656OFPHIL. He extended the invitation to Hon. Eustaquio.
657The Chairperson commended the President for his initiative.

65913. Protest of Ifagao State University to the Ifogao Electric Cooperative
660The President informed the Board on the actions of IFSU management regarding the
661recent power disconnections at IFSU Aguinaldo Campus by the Ifugao Electric Cooperative. He
662further informed everyone that the issue was peacefully setded through the intervention of the
663Provincial Sangguniang Panlalawigan in the province of Ifugao.

66514. Result of court cases filed by and filed against Ifugao State University
666The President the Board that there are still a lot of cases pending in some courts within
667and outside the province of Ifugao at present and that IFSU is tasked to resolved these cases by
668hiring a legal counsel.

670With the impending expiration of the retainer agreement entered by IFSU with Atty.
671Edmond Kindipan, the President moved for the renewal of the retainer agreement with some
672amendments in compliance to existing rules and regulations. The motion was duly seconded by
673the body without any objection. Thus;

683VII. OTHER MATTERS
68415. CHED Scholarship to students of IFSU
685Hon. Albano, with the presence of Dir. Malvar, raised clarification and request regarding
686the scholarship being supervised by CHED-CAR.
687Dir. Malvar responded to look into it and suggested that a letter may be submitted to
688justify the issue being raised.
689The Chairperson then asked Dir. Malvar to respond on the issue when submitted.

691VIII. ADJOURNMENT
692Before the adjournment, the Chairperson expressed his gratitude to the members of the
693Board for their active participation. The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 in the afternoon upon
694motion by Hon. Bayang^n and duly seconded by the body.
