tuition fee free. They shall continue to avail of this scholarship provided that they have no
grades lower than 80% in any subject in the preceding semester.
Note: Deferred for implementation effective S.Y. 2013-2014 for incoming freshmen students and
transferees as per BOR Resolution No. 154, s. 2012.
3.1.3.2. Service Scholarship
3.1.3.2.1. The following are entitled to free full tuition fee scholarship for services rendered to the
institution:
3.1.3.2.1.1. USSG President (per campus)
3.1.3.2.1.2. Graduate School Student Organization President (per campus)
3.1.3.2.1.3. ROTC Corps Commander (per campus)
3.1.3.2.1.4. Editor-in-Chief of the Campus Newsletter
3.1.3.2.1.5. VLPCC President (per campus)Sports Club President (per campus)
3.1.3.2.1.6. CWTS student volunteers to be determined by the NSTP director. The number of volunteers
will be limited to 4 per school year.
3.1.3.2.2. The following are entitled to half tuition fee discount for services rendered to the institution:
3.1.3.2.2.1. USSG Vice President (per campus)
3.1.3.2.2.2. VLPCC Vice President (per campus)
3.1.3.2.2.3. GSSO Vice President (per campus)
3.1.3.2.2.4. Editorial Staff (per campus)
3.1.3.2.2.5. Members of the Drum and Bugle Corps (per campus)
Note: Only those who finished the basic course (NSTP) but continue serving in the drum and bugle
corps shall enjoy the scholarship.
3.1.3.2.3. Fiduciary funds collected from said organizations shall be used to finance the aforementioned
scholarships subject to availability of actual cash collections. The above mentioned scholarship
shall be enjoyed by the student on top of other scholarships.
3.1.3.2.4. If a student enjoys other scholarships, the cash equivalent of his earned scholarship will be
given as incentive at the end of the semester.
To illustrate: Full academic scholarship shall be computed to pay for the assessed fees of the
student, and when the student also enjoys, for example, TEAP scholarship, other excess fees
not covered by the academic scholarship shall be deducted to the TEAP scholarship. Any excess
shall then be returned to the availing student.
3.1.3.2.5. Moreover, if a student enjoys 2 earned scholarship, and he used one, the equivalent amount
of the one earned scholarship shall be given to the student in cash.
3.1.3.3. Athletic Scholarship
3.1.3.3.1. For continuing students, the level of Meet played by the student shall be certified by the Sports
Director.
3.1.3.3.2. Granted to new and old students who are officially enrolled and willing to undergo training in
the events they excel.
3.1.3.3.3. The percentage of this scholarship depends upon the level of the meet the student played
during the preceding school year as certified by Sports Director for old students as follows:
