Aiden Anderson was excited about his eighth birthday — not just for the usual reasons. It would mark a milestone: 100 days since a transplant of blood stem cells from his older brother.
To beat rare leukemia, Aiden’s family had turned to City of Hope, a pioneer of the stem cell transplant. Today, we have one of the largest and most successful transplant programs of its kind.
