aya was working an overnight shift when a customer
approached the register. As she was ringing him up, he had a stroke right at the counter. Maya, being certified, had the knowledge to handle this type of situation. She
was able to quickly assess the situation and did everything she could in her power to get this customer the help that
he needed. The customer ended up in the hospital, but he recovered. This gentleman lives on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, which is over an hour away from us. He came back to the store when he got out of the hospital specifically to thank Maya for saving his life that night.
