The world in which we live has become more diverse and varied than it
was before. Increasing complexities and ever increasing demands have
changed lots of old philosophies. Today the concept of “one size for all”
philosophy has no more importance. Both in the workplace and at leisure,
things have changed. With so much of changes clear, comfortable and good
vision in variety of situations also necessitate the need for specialized
products and services for specialized occupation. The increasing
competition in all spheres has further added to the fact that one can not
take the chance any more. One mistake means the entire career is over.
Sports, today is one of the largest industries where more than 50%
population of the world is engaged professionally or otherwise. Eyesight
is extremely important in sports, especially when it comes to skiing and ice
hockey. In dazzling light of the high mountains, where the sun’s rays are
multiplied by reflections and fresh snow, in thick snowdrifts and incident
fog, visual perception is seriously limited. The complex movements are
continuously coordinated, controlled and corrected by means of visual
               inspection.
Compared to the rest of the body, the high energy consumption of the
eye frequently results in faster fatigue. Moreover, the eye has to adapt not
only to the very strong light of the wave spectrum visible to human eyes,
but also needs to be protected for longer use. At high altitudes, filter function
is reduced. Protection is also diminished since ozone layer is thinner as
you go higher. Ultraviolet light has very high damaging effect on our eyes.
The omnipresent Infrared rays above 800 nm carry thermal effect on the
eyes. In the enclosed spaces light intensity is less than the open spaces.
There may be possibility that regular glasses may not give the adequate
vision that a player is needed. At times he may be tired of not being able to
accurately read the green and sink that putt. The glare coming off the water
surface on sunny days while fishing or boating creates visual noise and
wind making their eyes dry when they really get moving on the new
mountain bike. Wind, flying dirt and debris can cause itchy and irritated
