My Grandma’s family did not have much money She made me understand that not all the children
when she was young. She has seven younger attended school. I learnt that I am fortunate that I
brothers and sisters. She stopped attending school can go to school. I will try my best. My Grandma
when she was ten so her younger brothers and wishes me to study well and be a helpful person.
sisters could attend school. When she stopped
schooling, she had to do housework like sweeping
the floor and washing clothes. She had to bring up Lau Si Han
her four brothers at once. It was not easy to take Primary 2.6
care of four boys! One sneaked out to catch fish in
the drain and lost his school bag. My grandmother
had to go all around to find his bag.
