I’ve lived in Bukit Panjang for a long time and I
feel deeply connected to this town. I was touched
to see my students explore the many sights of
Bukit Panjang and discover the hidden beauty in
every day life. Their photographs portray the rich
tapestry of Bukit Panjang’ s diverse community
and its unique blend of modernity and tradition.
Collaborating with these young talents taught me
a lot and deepened our appreciation for this place
in which many of us call “home”. The coffee table
book stands as a lasting tribute to the beauty of
Bukit Panjang, cherished not only by us but also by

future generations.
