Empathy and consideration are crucial to being more
balanced and nuanced with action and conviction.
They are the foundation for service and leadership. Our
youths must understand and appreciate what others
are going through, especially the less fortunate and
            the elderly.

This component emphasises dignity and focuses on
strengthening character. The NYAA helps our young
gain the confidence, know-how, and commitment to
serve the know-how through exposure and training.

Learning to communicate with the visually challenged.

“The NYAA program has played a pivotal role in my personal growth during
my student days and many years after as a Gold Award Holders’ Alumni. The
lessons learned through the journey have been lifelong assets that continue to
serve me well to this day.”
