As we modernise, adapt and change at
an increasing pace, the need to capture
what is today – for posterity – has become
critical. It is not only a heritage issue but
about respecting and appreciating our
lived environment and showcasing it to
the world.
This appears to have caught on with our
young. As a result, there is a growing
interest in photography among them. This
demand prompted the creation of the
NYAA Young Photographers’ Network. The
mission is to encourage this interest and
give it ballast by enhancing skills to benefit
the community and Singapore.
