Growing up, I led a sheltered
life centred around school and
family. NYAA broadened my
horizons but giving me chances to
meet friends from other schools
and backgrounds while doing
meaningful and fun activities like
community service.
Through NYAA, I travelled to
Switzerland and Jordan and hosted
youths from the UK and Jordan.
The NYAA experience encouraged
my curiosity about the world and
gave me the confidence to pursue
education and work outside
Singapore.
