Tan Kai En Calvin

            Tan  Kai  En's  journey  as  an  environmental  advocate
            began when he was recognised  with  the HSBC  NYAA
            Youth  Environmental  Award  in  2010,  which  allowed
            him to train with Earthwatch Scientists in Puerto Rico's
            Rainforest.  There,  he  gained  practical  skills  such  as
            measuring trees, counting lizards and frogs, and tagging
            vine  species,  which  laid  the  foundation  for  his  future
            contributions to environmental conservation.

            Upon  his  return  to  Singapore,  Kai  En  channelled  his
            expertise into community-driven initiatives, showcasing
            his passion for biodiversity and inspiring others to protect
            natural  ecosystems.  His  leadership  was  evident  from
            his  involvement  in  student-led  efforts  at  the  National
            University  of  Singapore  (NUS)  to  founding  the  Pasir
            Ris Sustainability Action Group (PRSAG), a community
            hub  recognised  by  NParks  as  a  Nature  Kaki  Chapter.
            PRSAG  mobilises  residents  from  various  backgrounds
            to  participate  in  hands-on  environmental  stewardship
            activities,  including  tree  planting,  beach  clean-ups,
            and  intertidal  walks.  Since  its  inception  in  2020,  over          Tan Kai En Calvin
