addressing campus sustainability, including food waste, Elaine Sam Hui Xian
through the NUS Buffet Response Team. Under her Corporate Sustainability and CSR,
leadership, this initiative grew into a movement with Income Insurance Limited
over 20,000 members. Her approach was rooted in
fostering a community-driven culture of sustainability
that prioritised engagement and lasting behaviour
change.
