Cheryl Lee Jue Lei

Cheryl is a passionate environmental advocate who has
significantly contributed to sustainability within and
beyond her academic environment.

As the former President of Nanyang Polytechnic's GEO
Council, she led numerous impactful initiatives, including
upcycling workshops for schools and older people. These
efforts not only promoted environmental responsibility
but also fostered intergenerational connections.

In 2015, Cheryl spearheaded a meaningful tribute to
Singapore's founding Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew, by Cheryl Lee Jue Lei
organising the planting of 23 Tembusu trees on campus Master in International Relations,
in collaboration with the GEO Council and the National Oxford Brookes University
Youth Achievement Award Club (NYAA).

Cheryl's environmental work extended far beyond Cheryl has also ventured into filmmaking, hosting the
her school engagements. She actively contributed to Singapore Eco Film Festival and collaborating with
symposiums like The Blue Outreach, focusing on ocean fashion designers to produce 15 environmental short
