As fireworks and flash bangs burst on the street
And gunshots make people fall to their feet
As fear and paranoia starts to set in
Protesters and police will clash once again
From Stanton to Bronx the sirens will blare
Mixed with blades of news choppers suspended in air
Tears roll down the cheeks of black women and men
