Kates lessons about the women’s movement

I miss advisory with Kim and now Pat

going to school early
8:00 am every day
Saying good morning to all the teachers

Then I could see my friends trickle in
coming early or late
and we would all say
“I want to go home already”
“I don’t want to be here”
but little did we know
we wouldn’t come back

Never seeing each other again
staying home
looking at a screen
just to see each other
I miss school
I miss my friends
