a fixed door frame and the fact that I still need to use the door, the focus of
each symbolic object may be aesthetically satisfying. I also applied grayscale
to image to give a serious tone of the tensive, debilitating unrest of expecting
the future and give sharp contrast. Also the equipment I have is not of great
quality so I decided to minimize photographic caveats.
or the past few weeks it’s been sorta
F ok. Issues about being quarantined
is that the homework is more difficult,
food is running low, my parents are
trying to find a way to get income
since they can’t work at their jobs for
now, hoping that my family is doing
alright. The homework is an issue
because not only I have to do my
work online, but I have to help my
little brother with his homework.
He’s in first grade but his teacher
assigns him a lot of homework
Christian Cuzco which can be difficult to help
him and takes a couple of hours
to finish it everyday. Now that people are panic
buying, there’s not enough supplies for people that actually need it.
Regularly the cost of supplies such as hand sanitizer or Lysol would be a fair
price for them but now since the Corona Virus is spreading quickly, people are
overpricing their stocks so they can make more money. For example; I went to
Stop and Shop to buy food and other items and when I saw that the Lysol costs
$9, I asked my brother how much did this used to cost and he said around $4.
We couldn’t buy some of the items we wanted because of how overpriced they
are. This is affecting us because when we try to buy stuff it’s either out of stock
because people are panic buying or it’s just too overpriced.
The soap and the mask represents how these important items are being over-
charged which means people won’t have enough to buy them. The money on the
bottom of the soap and mask represents how it’s being wasted from overpriced
stuff. The blurry background represents how people are confused and how we
all don’t know what’s gonna happen next.
