• 10/28/95 - Youth and Children’s chorales perform at Strawberry Square for “A Taste of South Central PA,” benefitting the South Central PA Food Bank
• 10/28/95 - Youth and Children’s chorales present the first Scholarship Concert at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, PA
1996 – 1997 • 12/14 - 15/96 - Youth and Children’s chorales perform with HSO and Harrisburg Youth Symphony for the Christmas Pops concert
1997 – 1998 • 11/25/97 - Youth and Children’s chorales perform a commissioned piece, Look To This Day, by C. Thomas Schwalm, with the Central Dauphin Singers as guest artists
• 2/28/98 - Children’s Chorale joins SC, Harrisburg Chamber Singers, and Lebanon Valley College Alumni Chorale for a performance of Carmina Burana for the Central Pennsylvania Choral Festival
1998 – 1999
• 10/18/98 – All chorales participate in the Alice Parker Workshop and “Sing” at Messiah College
• 11/22/98 -Youth and Children’s chorales perform their 10th anniversary concert at the annual Youth Choral Festival
• Spring 1999 - Children’s Chorale performs Carmina Burana with St. Joseph’s University Choirs and Orchestra for the Pennsylvania Medical Society Meeting, Philadelphia, PA
1999 – 2000 • September 1999 - SYC hosts and performs an informal concert with the Youth Chamber Choir of St. Petersburg, Russia
• 11/14/99 - The Youth Choral Festival is held for the first time at the Whitaker Center, Harrisburg, PA
2000 – 2001 • September 2000 - Shannon Bry becomes new SYC conductor
• 3/17 - 18/01 - The Children’s Chorale performs Carmina Burana with the HSO
2002 – 2003
• September 2002 - George Diehl becomes new SYC conductor.
• 10/26/02 - In conjunction with the celebration of the Children’s Chorale’s tenth anniversary, both the Children’s Chorale and the Youth Chorale hold a seminar and perform with the American Boy Choir at Messiah College.
• 9/11/02 - The Susquehanna Chorale and Youth and Children’s chorales perform for the Governor’s 9/11 Memorial Service
• 12/20 - 22/02 - SCC performs in the Chorale Christmas Concert series
2003 – 2004
• December 2003-SYC debuts with the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and HSO to perform Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, Hershey Theater, Hershey, PA. This tradition continues for several years.
• The SCC performs at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Harrisburg, for the inauguration of Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Catherine Baker Knoll
2005 – 2006 • 10/14/05 - Youth and Children’s chorales participate in a workshop with composer James Papoulis
2006 – 2007
• 12/15 - 17/06 - SYC, SCC, and SC perform Donald McCullough’s When Christ Was Born of Mary Free to celebrate the Chorale’s 25th anniversary
