2007 – 2008 • 11/18/07 - The Susquehanna Young Women’s Chorale (SYWC), conducted by George Diehl, is introduced at the YCF concert.
• December 2007 - SCC sings with Rita Coolidge, Whitaker Center, Harrisburg, PA
• January 2008 - New Preparatory Choir for third graders, Judith Shepler, conductor, begins rehearsals
2009 – 2010 • September 2009 - Elizabeth Lins-Shoenfelt becomes new SYWC conductor
2010 – 2011
• 10/21/10 - SCC and SC perform at the PA ACDA Fall Conference in York, PA
• 2/26-27/11 - SCC performs Puccini’s La bohème with the SC and Harrisburg Singers
2012 – 2013 • 12/8 - 9/12 - SCC performs with Messiah College Concert Choir for HSO’s “Mistletoe Magic” Christmas Program
2013 – 2014
• 11/02/13 - SCC participates in the “Children’s Choir Festival - Voices for Peace” in Gettysburg, PA
• 11/24/13 - Youth Choral Festival concert performed for the first time at The Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts, Messiah College
• 3/27/14 - SYC participates for first time for PMEA Conference, Hershey
2014 – 2015
• 11/08/14 - SCC participates with three other children’s choirs at State College, Lynnel Joy Jenkins, conductor
• 4/02/15 - First Preparatory Choir Demonstration, Messiah College
2015 – 2016
• 3/12/16 - SCC joins choir at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church for J. S. Bach’s “St. Matthew’s Passion”
2016 – 2017
• September 2016 - Dru Kepner becomes new SYWC conductor.
• 5/20/17 - SCC performs Carmina Burana with York Symphony Orchestra
2019 – 2020 • 4/08/20 - SCC is invited to sing for PA Blue Ribbon Champion for Safe Kids awards ceremony, sponsored by PA Family Alliance (the ceremony was cancelled due to the COVID
-19 pandemic)
2020 – 2021 • The 2020 - 2021 EOP season is suspended due to pandemic restrictions
2021 – 2022 • 9/07/21 - First rehearsals begin after a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19
• 11/21/21 - Youth Choral Festival, the first performance following the COVID-19 pandemic
