LINDA CASSELLA MEMORIAL YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP PLEASE OBTAIN THE APPLICATION ON THE NARBC WEBSITE
The purpose of the Linda Cassella Memorial Youth Scholarship program is to recognize outstanding youth individuals who have become knowledgeable about the Angora rabbit, and consistently promote the hobby through their youth activities. The scholarship is open to any youth member in good standing who will be starting a post-secondary program. Recipient will be asked to provide proof of enrollment at an accredited institution. Applicants must be current members of NARBC and ARBA. They are to have been members of NARBC and ARBA a minimum of 2 years. Individuals may only receive the scholarship once. The award amount will be set by the current Board of Directors. More than one individual may be awarded a scholarship. The application form will be available on the NARBC Website.
Scholarship applications must be received between Aug 15th and September 15th. The Recipient(s) will be announced at ARBA Convention NARBC annual meeting. PROCEDURES FOR LINDA CASSELLA MEMORIAL YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS: 1. All applications must complete the scholarship form provided by NARBC.
2. All applicants must have held continuous NARBC and ARBA membership for at least two years preceding
applying for
the scholarship.
3. Applicants must be entered in a post-secondary school within one (1) year of the award.
4. All applications must include a complete High School transcript, plus a transcript of any advanced education.
5. Applications must include a letter of recommendation from a teacher, employer, or friend of the family.
6. Scholarships will be paid directly to the member upon receipt of confirmation of the second semester of post-
secondary
school enrollment.
7. A member of the immediate family of any Linda Cassella Memorial Youth Scholarship Committee member will be eligible to apply, but the committee member will not be able to submit scoring information the year their child applies.
8. Applications must not exceed a maximum of 5 pages.
9. All applications must be postmarked (no later than September 15th) and submitted to:
