PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear Members, Colleagues,
and Friends,
I am deeply honored and humbled to serve as the 112th President of
the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association. To be entrusted with this
responsibility by my peers—leaders who embody the very best of our
profession—is something for which I am profoundly grateful.
As I begin my term, I want to be clear about my priorities for our
Association: officer wellness and the consolidation of police services.
Supporting the health and resilience of our officers must remain at
the forefront, ensuring that those who serve are equipped mentally,
physically, and emotionally to meet the demands of our profession.
At the same time, advancing discussions on regionalization and
consolidation is critical to strengthening service delivery, enhancing
professionalism, and providing communities with sustainable, high-
quality policing.
None of this work is possible without the steadfast commitment of
our membership. Time and again, Pennsylvania’s police leaders have
demonstrated their dedication to advancing professionalism, embracing
innovation, and holding themselves and their agencies to the highest
standards.
Your leadership, resilience, and dedication to keeping our communities
safe remain the foundation upon which our Association is built. Together,
we will continue to uphold the proud tradition of service that defines the
Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.
It is truly the honor of my career to serve as the President of the
Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association. I am deeply grateful for the
trust and confidence you have placed in me, and I will devote my efforts
to representing our Association with integrity and purpose. Thank you
for the opportunity to lead alongside such dedicated professionals, and
together, I am confident we will build upon our proud tradition while
advancing the future of policing in Pennsylvania.
Sincerely,
David Lash
