AND SHARED VISION
FOR EXCELLENCE IN
POLICING HAVE BEEN
A CONSTANT SOURCE
OF INSPIRATION TO
ME THROUGHOUT
MY TENURE.
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Dear Members, Colleagues,
and Friends,
As I conclude my term as President of the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police
Association, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude
to each of you for the privilege of serving in this prestigious role.
It has been an honor to represent an organization that exemplifies the very
best of leadership, dedication, and service in law enforcement across our
Commonwealth.
This year has brought both challenges and achievements, and through it all,
I’ve witnessed the unwavering professionalism, resilience, and commitment
of our membership. Your support, collaboration, and shared vision for
excellence in policing have been a constant source of inspiration to me
throughout my tenure.
As we gather for this year’s Annual Conference, I am excited to welcome you
all—both returning and new members—to what promises to be a meaningful
and enriching event. The conference is not only a time to engage in valuable
training and dialogue but also an opportunity to strengthen the connections
that make our Association a powerful and united voice for law enforcement in
Pennsylvania.
One of my first orders of business when I became President was to create a
mental health committee. I’m so proud of this committee and I want to thank
each of them for working diligently over the past year. With that said, please
make certain stop at the new PCPA Officer Wellness Resource Table. The
booth will have all the police resources that have been shared from across the
commonwealth. We will also be launching a new link on the PCPA website as
well to help serve those in need.
I would also like to extend my deepest appreciation to our vendors and
sponsors. Your ongoing support plays a crucial role in the success of this
conference and in helping our members stay informed about the latest tools,
technologies, and resources that advance the safety and effectiveness of our
agencies. Your partnership is deeply valued.
And to the PCPA staff, words can’t express the gratitude I have for each and
every one of you. Without your support and dedication, this association
would not have had the success that we all have become accustomed to.
As I pass the baton to the next President, I do so with confidence in the
future of this great organization and pride in what we have accomplished
together. Thank you once again for the honor of serving, and I look forward to
continuing our shared mission in the years to come.
With gratitude and respect,
Sincerely,
Mike Vogel
