EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
Dear Members,
I look forward to welcoming everyone to the 112th PCPA Education and
Training Conference at the beautiful and historic Lancaster Marriott
Penn Square. Since 1914, the PCPA has united law enforcement
leaders across Pennsylvania, fostering collaboration on key issues,
legislation, training, and emerging trends.
The strength of PCPA lies in our dedicated staff, Board of Directors,
Committees, and committed Association members. Their expertise and
leadership drive our mission: to support law enforcement professionals
through education, mentorship, legislative advocacy, and a dynamic
network where leaders learn from one another. Together, we shape
policies and practices at the highest levels.
I encourage all Pennsylvania Police Chiefs and their command staff
to engage with our Association actively. The PCPA thrives through
the commitment and participation of its members, strengthening our
collective impact.
This year’s Conference offers an outstanding training curriculum, inspiring
speakers, top-tier vendors, and invaluable networking opportunities. I
hope you make the most of these sessions and connections.
The PCPA provides various training opportunities to our members
throughout the year. However, our annual Conference is a unique
opportunity for all our members, colleagues, and friends to come
together for professional development, networking, and to foster a
sense of community.
Finally, I thank Chief Michael Vogel, the Association President of the
Allegheny County Housing Authority Police Department. Chief Vogel has
consistently and professionally represented the PCPA, bringing positive
recognition to our Association. He has displayed exceptional leadership
skills in managing both professional and personal responsibilities. On
behalf of the PCPA and its members, I sincerely thank Chief Vogel.
We are prepared to confront the upcoming challenges and express
our appreciation to our courageous law enforcement community. We
support you and look forward to seeing you in Lancaster.
Sincerely,
Scott L. Bohn
