PA CHIEFS OF POLICE ASSOCIATION
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE (CONTINUED)
We made improvements to our website and enhanced our presence on social media platforms. We have strengthened
our relationships with other associations to better our capabilities and serve the members of our Association. Follow
us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Our Testing and consulting services have become the State standard for hiring, promotions and Executive selection
processes in the Commonwealth. Our process and standards are unparalleled in the State. Our processes are
endorsed by law enforcement executives and municipal officials throughout the Commonwealth. This process is one
of our municipalities most critical functions. The PCPA should be your first call. We are certain that you will agree with
the results, the value, and the cost to your agency.
Our 2023 annual Education and Training Conference at Kalahari in the Poconos was a great event highlighted by
comedian and entertainer Joe Piscopo opening our conference Sunday evening. Pennsylvania’s Attorney General
Michelle Henry keynoted our business session followed by tremendous training. If you missed it, you missed a lot!
Please visit our website and don’t miss our 2024 Conference in Erie, PA.
As we close on 2023 and plan for 2024, I am excited about the training and programming we will share with our
law enforcement leaders. It has long been the mission of the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association (PCPA) to
promote and provide innovative evidence-based programs to law enforcement throughout the Commonwealth.
Lastly, I would like to thank our Executive Board and all the members who serve on committees for our Association.
These highly professional men and women represent all that is great about law enforcement in our state. I would also
like to thank the outstanding staff at PCPA. Their amazing dedication and support enable your association to thrive
and grow. This has been an extraordinarily busy and productive year for PCPA. I am proud of the Association and the
work that has been accomplished. We look forward to the New Year and will continue to meet the challenges ahead.
We wish you and your family good health and happiness this holiday season and in the coming New Year.
Sincerely,
Scott L. Bohn
