1 Uses of the subject marker が with stative predicates
Use the particle て for “objects” of stative predicates. Stative predicates include:
(i) stative verbs (ぜィ...ぞィ...ェづィ...めでィ...見ぢィ...聞ねぢィ etc.)
(ii) adjectives (好でぺ ‘be fond of’...でァぞぺ ‘dislike’...ねェぞ ‘be scared’ etc.) (iii) ×べぞ forms of verbs (食んべぞ...院べぞ...行でべぞ etc.)
1. 宿題てべどはカぜィ〜 2. 山て見ぢィ〜
3. 先生よ話て聞ねぢィ〜 4. ぽも時関てぞィ〜
5. 日本語て分づィ〜 6. 話て出来ィ〜
7. 日本語て好でぺ〜
8. デΒパてでァぞぺ〜 9. 日本語てひだぴぺ〜
I have a lot of homework.
I can see the mountain.
I can hear the teacher’s talk. I need more time.
I understand Japanese.
I can have a conversation.
I like Japanese.
I don’t like the class.
I am good at Japanese.
The object of ×べぞ forms of verbs can be marked either by て or オ. This is because the original verb is non-stative, but the ×べぞ form is stative.
