×べぞ attaches to a verb stem and means ‘want to do some action’. A verb stem is the form used before ×び as in the case of 行で in 行でび. The combination of a verb stem and × べぞ conjugates as an adjective.
行でべぞ(めび) 行でべどやぞ(めび)−行でべどぜアふカ 行でべづぽべ(めび) 行でべどやづぽべ(めび)−行でべどぜアふカめぱべ
V-べぞ form is used to express desire directly. Use this form only when you express your own desire or ask a friend or younger person what she/he wants to do.
1. ゃねめ食んべぞめびづ〜 Where do you want to eat?
2. 今日ら\本オ読べどやぞめび〜 I don’t want to read a book today.
4 ×べぞカめび..solicitation of sympathy
This combination solicits sympathy for the speaker’s situation. It means ‘I would like you to understand that I want to...’. It is regularly used when asking for the way and seeking permission. A fuller explanation of ×カめび is provided in Lesson 11.
