of the team, with the team winning the
Individual Biathlon Race and coming
third in both the Classic and Biathlon
Relay. These impressive results, from a
mainly novice team, led to the AGC Ladies
qualifying for The Army Championships.
Here the team were joined by Amanda
Lightfoot and Jessica Field, who had
qualified with her Regiment.

Both Amanda and Nerys dominated
the individual races and brought home
several trophies for the Corps. Meanwhile
the team finished third in the overall
competition despite stiff competition from
the Royal Logistic Corps and the Royal
Artillery.

Looking Forward

Winter 2016/17 looks set to be an Post training session. Nerys Jones, Samantha McCormick,
Joanna Paul, Lizzy Millwater and Abigail Poots
exciting season, with a number of the
team returning for summer camp in
July. The AGC Ladies will arrive at pre-
season training with sharper skills and
a dream to bring home the silverware.
And with the expert coaching from Nerys
Jones and Amanda Lightfoot, this hope
may well become a reality.
