Visit of Her Royal Highness
The Duchess of Gloucester GCVO

After meeting and chatting to the students,
Her Royal Highness was briefed about
Project Wellesley and the progress of the
construction by Lieutenant Colonel Mark
Cox, who gave a very comprehensive
overview of the project, with aerial
photographs of the new emerging
buildings, and how it was progressing.
Following the briefing, Colonel Andrew
Griffiths invited Her Royal Highness to
unveil and dedicate a plaque
honouring the Officers and
Soldiers of the Adjutant General’s
Corps who have made the ultimate
sacrifice whilst serving on
operations since the formation of
the Corps on the 6th April 1992.
The plaque will be placed on a
cairn outside the newly built AGC

Her Royal Highness The Royal Highness met a number of officers
attending the Educational and Training
Duchess of Gloucester GCVO Services Branch Training Course and
when she visited Worthy also officers attending the Detachment
Commanders Course.

students from the Personnel
Administration Training
Wing and to be briefed on
Project Wellesley.
Meeting The Students
Her Royal Highness was greeted by Colonel
Frances Castle, Major Jim Fallon and
Corps Sergeant Major Ben Culleton. Her
Royal Highness was then introduced to
Lieutenant Colonel Mark Cox, Major Dom
Hayakawa, Lieutenant Colonel Pat Wright
and Colonel Andrew Griffiths OBE before
meeting students attending the Service
Initial Personnel Administration Course.
