RESOURCE COORDINATION AND COUNSELING (RCC)
The Resource Coordination and Counseling (RCC) Program leverages WRC’s internal services with external resources to help navigate situations our clients are facing. RCC combines practical resource referral, such as for housing, food and employment, with building long term resiliency skills and coping mechanisms.

Serving During a Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic posed a challenge to RCC because clients were usually seen in-person at WRC headquarters. RCC pivoted from an interactive in-person mode to a HIPAA compliant online therapy portal to continue one-on-one sessions with clients safely.
The pressures and anxiety caused by the pandemic have increased the need in the community for RCC. At the same time, the problems clients are facing have become more complex and layered due to the impact of COVID-19. RCC is responding to both the heightened need and complexity of issues for clients facing difficult life challenges and transitions in the midst of the pandemic.
