Role in the PA: I am part of the Frontline analysis team responsible for the supervision of FirstRand Limited. Within the team, I am responsible for Credit risk, Capital management, Securitisation, Liquidity risk and Interest rate risk in the banking book. My role entails making sure that FirstRand does not go ‘under‘ as a result of being too ambitious and taking on more risk than they can handle.
Fun fact: I am a numbers guy. I love analysis and everything that goes with it. Outside theworkplaceIlovereadingandlisteningtopodcasts(especiallyonpersonalfinance.I do not have any superpowers but, if I were to choose one I would choose the ability to read people’s minds – that would get everyone to behave around me.
