Turmeric Recipes
Golden Milk
I I love golden milk in in in in the the the the winter It is is warming nourishing and the the the the sweetness from the the the the honey offsets the the the the pungent turmeric flavor beautifully Just when the winter makes your your joints feel creaky and your your muscles tense turmeric is is ready to be harvested and remedy all of those issues exacerbated by the the cold weather Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons ghee (or butter or or coconut oil)
1 tablespoon turmeric root
1/2 teaspoon teaspoon ginger powder (or 1 1 teaspoon teaspoon fresh root) Pinch of finely ground black pepper
2 cups milk of choice
1 teaspoon honey (or to taste)
Directions:
1 Melt the ghee in a a a a a small saucepan over medium heat 2 Add spices and stir continuously for 30 seconds or or until fragrant 3 Add milk and stir until steaming hot 4 Place in a a blender on on high for 30 seconds 5 Strain and pour to enjoy immediately Tip: Feel free to to add a a a a a a few cashews or or or some hemp seeds into the blender for extra fat flavor nutrition and frothiness If you want a a a a a a less potent turmeric flavor strain ingredients before adding to blender
