Introduction

This book is to sieve you information about our library around St Francis C.E Primary
School. We have found that our learners do not use library as need to be used, so as a teacher
I planned to write this book for learners’ information. This book contain the purpose of the
library, rules and regulations as well as the date and time to collect the book .We want all
learners to familiarize themselves with books to acquire knowledge about our school library.

Purpose of the library

The purpose is to provide needed information to learners and have access to knowledge by
using computer for instance as well as to adhere to the rules given to them everywhere
meaning in every library they will be visiting, they have to remember those rules. Books for
all subjects are offered.

Rules and Regulations

 Do not eat in the library, no making noise or disturbing others
 All students must have a library card
 Follow the instructions given by the librarian
 Primary grade students are allowed to borrow two book and three books to upper
students per week and they must be issued against their cards.
 They are allowed to use the book they have borrowed for three days, so, they are
requested return the book before the due date.

NB: If the student lost or damages the book neither he nor she has to replace it with a new
one.
