P. 3
WOODSY
oday we play host to Bedfont & Feltham at ‘The Lane’
Tand a warm welcome awaits their players, officials
and supporters.
We got off to a great start to the season last Saturday, but we won’t be
resting on our laurels as we prepare to take on Bedfont & Feltham, who
beat Bagshot 3-0 on the opening day of the season, so we could be in for
a feast of goals today. We’ll have ten players in the squad who didn’t play
in last season’s home game fixture against Bedfont & Feltham, so it’ll be
quite a different game and we’ll be looking to rectify the two previous
defeats they imposed on us last season.
Trey Masikini and Kieran Scantlebury have departed
There’s been a few ins and outs at Chalky Lane over the summer break,
Trey Masikini and Kieran Scantlebury have departed to try their luck
with Crowborough Athletic again, I’m sure the door will always re-
main open to them here (we might have to fit a revolving door!). Kieran
Campbell has rejoined his former club Guildford City, the former team
captain Ben Ewing and Adam Marie have left due to work commitments,
they will be sorely missed.
On the flip side, we have welcomed a new crop of players this season, in-
cluding Dan Green, Nathan Upton, Ellis Lentell, Elliot Baptiste, Robbie
Burns, Mike Williams, Kane Sargeant, Anthony Ogbanufe and Jordan
Vidal, they will have a great impact on our quest for promotion to the
Premier League.
