oday we play host to Corinthian-Casuals at ‘The
TLane’ and a warm welcome awaits their players,
officials and supporters.
We’re hoping to be awash with chocolate and pink this evening as the
Corinthian-Casuals supporters descend on Chalkly Lane for the last
of our pre-season friendlies, in what promises to be an entertaining
fixture. Please feel free to stay on after the match for a couple of drinks.
Some positive performances
The pre-season friendlies have given the lads a chance to build up their
fitness, and on the whole we’ve produced some strong performances
(don’t mention the Redhill game, as Basil Fawlty would say) and pro-
vided a few of the younger players with an opportunity to gain experi-
ence and shine.
We’ve also had the good fortune in welcoming former Corinthian-Cas-
uals manager Matt Howard to the coaching staff, his input and training
methods are already having a positive effect on the team.
