CHAIRMAN'S NOTES

 Continued from previous page...

But...but...we are still seeing golden opportunities slip from our
grasp. We are still seeing chances missed and mistakes made,
and these moments are costing us a league position and cup runs
that we can't afford and don't deserve.
This is not a revelation. Our team and our management know
what is happening and they know what is expected. In this pro-
gramme you can read Josh Gallagher's views and the match re-
port from Knaphill and it's clear that everyone on the footballing
end of RPV know what needs to be done. From the club we are
helping with strengthening of the squad and providing a sound
base for the club to build on.
So... unlike those clubs at either end of the dream, RPV are not
panicking nor are we clearing a space in the clubhouse for our
trophies. There is work to be done - lots of work - but we know
what we can achieve, and we fully intend to get there.
Today we welcome Welling Town – The Boots – a team, like
Raynes Park, with grassroots football in their blood and I look
forward to meeting with as many of you all as I can!
