here’s been a lot of refurbishment
Twork going on around the ground
over summer, the boardroom has been
rewired, plastered and decorated, the
shower block has received a facelift, the
main ironwork gates have been painted
and other general tidying and cleaning
has been undertaken. So everything will
be looking spick and span for the com-
ing season.
Some interesting additions to the Snack
Bar menu have been spotted, such as We’re expecting some big eaters down at the
Mediterranean Couscous, Thai Green Lane this season
Curry with Rice & Quinoa and Betty football grounds throughout the land, is
Crocker Chocolate Cake in a mug, but still available, although my mate would
do not fear; Bovril, that old staple of like to see Marmite on sale too.
The pitch is looking in great condition,
as it prepares for the double wham-
my of a battering it’s going to endure
this season. Sand has also been spread
around the ground to aid drainage. Ex-
pert maintenance resulted in only two
games being postponed last season, and
for one of those matches the rain was
reminiscent of the Great Flood. A word
of caution to opposing teams, or anyone
else for that matter, please don’t warm
up on the main pitch before the match,
otherwise, you’ll encounter the wrath of
Andy.
GET OFF
THE PITCH !!!
