elcome to the BA players, staff and offi-
Wcials. Along with today’s match officials
of whom I hope all have a pleasant visit to ‘The
Lane’.
On to the business side of things and huge positives
to take away from the last two games. Only two points but games that
on reflection we could have won, however, in reality, we gained valuable
points that we may not have done a few weeks back.
The new shape worked very well on Saturday and it was again individual
errors as opposed to collective mistakes that cost us.
Addressing and rectifying these small details will make all the difference
and that’s what I intend to do week on week.
In the past week, I have been working hard along with Andrew, Mark,
Smudge and Deacs to improve the squad, not just in terms of quality but
in having a balance that works and helps the team to develop which I
think was already evident on Saturday.
We fought harder and were determined to the last and got the absolute
minimum that we deserved which was a draw.
Off the pitch, I’m receiving fantastic support from the committee and
things are getting done that can only help improve the quality of the
environment.
Last week we unfortunately lost Ellis, Era and Greeny who felt that it
was in their best interests to move on and I’m sure that everyone from
management to staff to players wishes them well in the future.
Every game is an important game whether you are top, middle or bot-
tom so as always it’s my job to make sure that the boys give 100% and
then let their individual quality shine through.
Thanks to everyone for their continued support of the team, there is
only a few of you but you are as important as anyone
